THE KING OF CREATINE: MONOHYDRATE REIGNS SUPREME

Have you ever heard of the latest and most significant forms of creatine on the market, claiming to be superior to the good old creatine monohydrate? Well, these new forms of creatine might sound fancy with their high solubility and fancy uptake mechanisms. Still, they're just trying to take your hard-earned money.

A recent study put these new forms of creatine to the test, and the results were clear as day: creatine monohydrate is the MVP. The study, which included 17 randomized controlled trials and 548 healthy adults, compared the safety and efficacy of various creatine formulations against the gold standard, creatine monohydrate.

The study looked at different forms of creatine, such as citrate, malate, ethyl ester, nitrate, pyruvate and even magnesium-chelated creatine. But when it came down to it, none of them could dethrone the king. In fact, out of the 17 studies, only 3 of them even compared the new forms of creatine to the monohydrate.

The study also found that all forms of creatine were safe, but the real kicker was the price. Creatine monohydrate came in at the lowest cost per serving, costing a measly $0.29. In contrast, the alternative creatine formulations could cost up to $1.50 per serving. Talk about getting ripped off!

Now, it's worth noting that this study has some limitations, and there might be a chance that a superior creatine formulation exists worldwide. But with the low cost and overwhelming evidence supporting the use of creatine monohydrate, it's doubtful that any new forms of creatine will be able to take its throne. So, save your money and stick with the tried and true creatine monohydrate.
